Where's our Gandhigiri gone?

In the land of the Mahatma,we seem to have totally forgotten about Ahimsa - non violence.Being such a large country and so much diversity,we do have plenty of differences.These can be solved amicably and in a dignified manner.What has been happening all over the country is blatant violence and hooliganism.Might has become right.It is time we ponder over it and change our ways.Whether you look at the agitation in the hills of West Bengal for Gorkhaland or the Gujjars in Rajasthan or the Sikhs yesterday holding Mumbai to ransom -to protest the killing of an innocent bystander.Violence in any form is inhuman.Why is it that the innocent citizens of our country are always harassed?
