The Government of Maharashtra has approved building of a statue of the Maratha hero Chhatrapati Shivaji in the Arabian Sea off Marine Drive.It will be taller than the Statue of Liberty in New York City.So Mumbai is all set to have another landmark.
The project was promised in the Manifesto of the Congress and the NCP and was given approval by the Maha CM and his Deputy.
