Chennai Airport Expansion

Chennai airport is to get a second domestic terminal and have its second runway extended with the Centre allocating Rs 1,800 crore for this purpose.The new terminal will help manage the increasing passenger traffic in the domestic sector.The work was expected to start in a couple of months.
