Ahmedabad:Two new flyovers

Ahmedabad will soon get two more flyovers. AMC has come out with tenders for flyovers at Isanpur and Soni ni Chali. The tender process had been held back for some time. The two projects are worth Rs 36.84 crore. The flyovers are part of Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) infrastructure and are being made under the JNNURM. While the Soni Ni Chali flyover would be four-lane, built across NH-8, the one at Isanpur would be three-lane across the junction. These areas are heavily congested by traffic during peak hours.
